Dudrich To Challenge Incumbent In 115th District

I am officially announcing my candidacy for a democratic seat in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives 115th District. I am a school teacher with the Wayne Highlands School District and will be seeking signatures for my nominiation petetion starting February 16th. I ran for the same position in 2008 and although I lost my bid for election, I garnered 19% of the vote. 2009 was supposed to be the year of change but all we got was the same old inept government.

As I did in 2008, I am actively running on a platform that supports HB 1275 which would eliminate school property taxes, suopport for a referendum to call for a constitutional convention and to reduce the size of the legislature by 20%. I have already begun to set the wheels in motion necessary for an efficient campaign. I believe our state legislature has served as a model of inefficiency and mismanagement for too long. It is by running for office that I am trying to restore the culture of ethics and integrity back into our government.

I reside Archbald, Pa. with my wife of 26 years Kimberly, daughter Korie attending graduate school at Bloomsburg, and Sarah a junior at Bloomsburg. I graduated from Valley View High School in 1974 and from East Stroudsburg University in 1979 earning a B.S. in Special Education. In my spare time I enjoy officiating sports and performing community theater. For more information about my campaign, e-mail me at dudrich4staterep@yahoo.com.

Demand Reform From Our Legislators

According to a December Quinnipiac Poll, only 25% of the voters approve of the job our state legislators are doing. The most important step in restoring confidence in the state legislature is the need for need a constitutional convention. That is why I support and am dedicated to getting HB 1929 enacted! This workable legislation would reform the structures of government and protect our rights. Please join me as I run for the state legislature in the 115th district. That seat has been held for the last 25 years by The Honorable Edward Staback.

With all of the unmanageability in our state government, I am asking that you click on the link below. This link will take you a web-sight called Democracy Rising. I am urging ALL Pennsylvania's to sign this petition to put a referendum on the November 2010 ballot for a Pennsylvania Constitutional Convention. I am also asking all of you to support me in my efforts as I run for State Representative in the 115th district. The Legislature's Surplus

During the budget impasse, which lasted 101 days or 25% of the fiscal year, the Legislative Audit Advisory Committee stated on June 30 there was a surplus of $201 million! Why then wasn't this public money used to help balance the budget. Instead $87 million was used by the lawmakers themselves in the form of per diem's to maintain their operations. Don't fear, the budget for this year restores $67 million so the surplus at the years end will be $181 million! These lawmakers should not be worthy of our votes. This only shows the need to break from past leadership practices and our out-of-touch politicians. This is why I am running
for a seat in the Pennsylvania State Legislatures 115th District. This seat has been held for the last 25 years by The Honorable Edward Staback.
